“I was referred to Carlyn Montes De Oca for nutrition and acupuncture, after a
series of very disappointing and discouraging appointments, with some of the
best allergy specialists in The Bay Area. After spending literally thousands of
dollars on testing, with no definitive results, I was beginning to think I would

shoulder pain. Medications and my yoga practice had not helped to heal the

Recently Carlyn Montes De Oca completed multiple acupuncture treatments for
an injured hand and an unrelated shoulder bursitis. Although I held some
skepticism for acupuncture, I thought I would give it a try. I found
